How to Pre-Register for a Special Needs Hurricane Shelter

During a hurricane, special needs shelters will be available for certain citizens. If you or a loved one has special needs, check about pre-registering with your county or parish before disaster strikes.

• Pre-registering will determine if you qualify for a special needs shelter. Pre-registering will also help your county organize transportation to the shelter if you need it.
